Pervasive
P.SQL v10 can be obtained directly from NETcellent System,
Inc. P.SQL v10 offers Elliott Business Software users a very
stable and high performance database engine that works at
both the transaction and relational level. It offers enhanced
encryption, a unified security model, a unified database and
operating system access control, and is fully backward compatible
with exisitng applications. P.SQL v10 also offers local workstation
caching, which will improve the performance of Elliott Business
Software. Furthermore, the ODBC and OLEDB driver from P.SQL
v10 will open the Elliott database to the Internet and make
Elliott a true open database application.

Compression - By compressing data at the page level
(instead of the file level), Pervasive P.SQL v10 reduces
application I/O. Pages are decompressed and placed in
cache for reads and compressed for writes. |

Compression - Reduce space and I/O requirements and
speed up your application. P.SQL v10 compresses contiguous
characters, shrinking I/O and increasing performance. |

Easy
Migration - P.SQL v10 is file compatible with Btrieve
6.15, v7, v8, and v9. |
To
utilize P.SQL v10, you must run Elliott
v7.4. Any Elliott user who purchased P.SQL v9, v8, v7,
or 2000i from another source, can purchase the upgrade to
P.SQL v10 through NETcellent System, Inc.
Running Elliott V7.x with Btrieve v6.15, P.SQL v7, v2000i,
v8, and v9
Elliott
v7.x will not run with Btrieve 6.15 and Pervasive SQL 7.
Elliott v7.x can run with P.SQL V9.x, V8.x, or 2000i. Although
Elliott v7.x will work with P.SQL 2000i and v8, both versions
are no longer offered by NETcellent. P.SQL v9 is offered on
a limited basis. We highly recommend using P.SQL v10 since this
is the latest version from Pervasive. However, to utilize P.SQL
v10, you must run Elliott v7.4. NETcellent will continue to
support P.SQL 2000i, v8, and v9 with Elliott v7.x. To purchase
